ADNEC is the Centre Piece of a New Micro City in Abu Dhabi

One of the exhibition halls at ADNEC.

It is lauded as one of the largest exhibition centres in the Gulf States with world-class facilities for business. The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) is also part of a bold plan for the future development of Abu Dhabi as a commercial destination.

ADNEC has been built as the centre piece of the AED 8 billion Capital Centre project, which is a fully integrated community development that is considered to be a strategic element in Abu Dhabi’s 2030 vision. When completed, the project on 48 hectares of land will include the iconic feature tower, the Capital Gate.

Whilst the exhibition centre has received several accolades for its uniqueness. Its exhibition halls and concourse are distinctively designed in
ovoid forms which are defined by futuristic styling. At the same time, ADNEC is also recognised for its achievement through the use of
technological advancement. In the Middle East the exhibition centre is honoured for its innovation and excellence.

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre is developed and operated by the ADNEC Group, an international venue development and business management company. Recently the Group invested in ExCel London, expanding its exhibition venues to this city. This in turn has helped ADNEC to align itself with the ExCel brand. In 2010 when the second phase of the expansion of ExCel is completed, this
venue will be the largest exhibition centre in the United Kingdom, with around 100,000 square metres of floor space.
