Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, an integrated resort destination located in Kuala Lumpur, has brought to Asia a new international dance music experience by opening the EUPHORIA night club by Ministry of Sound, a UK based brand created to showcase entertainment for the 21st century.
The EUPHORIA night club, embodies a unique structure with a set-up complemented by a state-of-the-art custom-designed world class sound system, lighting and vibrating dance floors to name a few. The three-level club with a twin-scene layout was designed by an international entertainment team. It was constructed in a unique circular form soaring nearly 120 feet at its peak, and can accommodate up to 1,500 people. The two main levels of EUPHORIA can hold over 1,000 people, the mezzanine has exclusive glass-walled private suites with the first floor as the main dance area. While the deck will feature an outdoor lounge area, a stand alone venue operating as an early evening Balearic type music and bar operation, which transforms into a club after dark. This twin-scene layout allows EUPHORIA to feature two different genres of music every night.
Sound systems are designed by Austen Derek, who has worked on systems at Studio 54 and MOS London. Euphoria will adopt a production heavy on theatrical dynamics, providing club goers with the best genre of contemporary dance music which includes Hi Hop, R & B, Open Format/Mas Up, Disco, House, Experiment, Breakbeat, Tribal House, Minimal, Trance, Techno and Electro House.
The club will play approximately 90,000 records in one year by its renowned resident local DJ Nash, Victor G and Ian Ross, in addition to Patrick Oliver from Miami, USA. Two different music genres will be played and each night will feature a different theme. EUPHORIA will also present global DJs, events and international dance club experiences.
