The Hotel Equatorial Melaka boasts of having 27,000 square feet of function space with the only pillar less grand ballroom in the city of 15,000 square feet.
Recently the grand ballroom was upgraded to the tune of RM 1 million to keep up with the times by installing state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. The Melaka Grand Ballroom is now equipped with 340 square feet of high definition LED video wall – first of its kind in any hotel in the city of Malacca.
The larger than life video wall comprises of 64-piece LED panel board which houses a total of 1,500,000 pixels that can project 16 million colours. While the crystal chandeliers complement the interchanging LED neon strip-lights and multi angle LED moving head lamps, bringing in modernity and grandeur for an awe-inspiring event.
In the past, the Melaka Grand Ballroom had been a venue, where histories were made business deals closed and on several occasion too toasted many special events. Today with the upgrade, the venue is versatile enough to host a range of stylish and unique events from conventions to business meetings and gala events.
