This year, the annual International Travel Expo (ITE) Hong Kong celebrates its 30th anniversary, which underlines its long history in expositions, and among one of Asia’s earliest held travel fairs.

Since taking over from ITE 2005, the organiser TKS has been making significant enhancements to the show. This include: launching the concurrent ITE MICE in 2006; expanding the overall scale to five exhibition halls since 2009 from two in 2004; re-positioning it to a truly international travel fair with, 85 percent of its over 600 exhibitors from abroad; highlighting travel themes on overseas wedding, eco and sport tourism; drawing more regional buyers and trade visitors; attracting affluent travellers; and organising 100 or so travel seminars during public days of the show.

ITE & MICE 2016, which combines the 30th ITE (leisure) and the 11th ITE MICE, will be held from June 16 to 19 at Halls 1A to 1E of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. The expo is once again supported by the China National Tourism Administration and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

AME 2016 is the most extensive B2B event of Turkey, and it will gather exhibitors of local and international hosted buyers, MICE professionals, corporate companies and associations. The country’s one and only congress, meeting and event industry exhibition will held from March 16 to 18 at the Instanbul Congress Center and Istanbul LütfiKırdar organised by Tourism Media Group.
